Lubbock-Cooper ISD will operate on a two-hour delay today, Tuesday, January 31. Buses will run all routes, also on a two-hour delay. Parents and staff will receive telephone and text message notifications at 6:00 a.m. We encourage drivers to utilize the delay to allow themselves plenty of travel time to campuses, and to please use extra caution.

Due to slick roads, the likelihood of continued freezing drizzle, and anticipated temperatures too low to thaw drizzle on roadways, Lubbock-Cooper ISD has canceled school today, Monday, January 30. Stay safe and warm, LCP family!

LCISD students in PK-8th grade can adopt a Lady Pirate Softball player for the upcoming season! The cost is $50, which includes a t-shirt that will admit your child into home softball games. For more information and to print a registration form, click the link. Adopt-a-Pirate assignments will be made in the order registration form and payment are received. Christmas Break is December 23-January 9! Thursday, December 22 will be an early release day on all campuses (12:00 p.m. for elementary, 12:45 p.m. for secondary). Monday, January 9 will be a student holiday and staff professional development day. 🎄🎅🎄🎅
