📣📣📣
Lubbock-Cooper ISD will start ON TIME today, Thursday, February 2, with buses running all routes as usual.
Although roadways in the district are currently clear, forecasts predict deteriorating weather conditions throughout the day. Out of an abundance of caution, Lubbock-Cooper ISD has canceled school today, Wednesday, February 1.
Stay safe and warm, LCP family!
Due to anticipated freezing precipitation and the possibility of hazardous road conditions, Lubbock-Cooper ISD plans to operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1. Buses will run all routes, also on a two-hour delay.
Depending on conditions tomorrow morning and the updated forecast for precipitation during the school day, it is possible that school will be canceled. This decision will be communicated no later than 7:00 a.m.
LCP family, we urge you to please be very careful when traveling under winter weather conditions, whether driving to/from school or elsewhere.
